Terms of Download

These Terms of Download ("Terms") govern your download, installation and use of the JoyCode viewer and related software (the "Software"). By downloading or installing the Software, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not download or use the Software.
1. License
JoyCode grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software for your own use, subject to these Terms. JoyCode retains all rights not expressly granted to you.
2. Second Life & third-party terms
JoyCode is a third-party viewer for the Second Life platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Linden Research, Inc. Your use of Second Life remains subject to Linden Lab's Terms of Service and policies. You are responsible for complying with them.
3. AI features
The Software includes an AI agent that can read content in your active workspace (such as scripts, object details and inventory you have open) in order to assist you, and that can propose or apply changes to your scripts. You are responsible for reviewing changes before relying on them. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete and is provided without warranty of correctness.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not use the Software for unlawful purposes or to violate the rights of others.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the JoyCode service or its infrastructure.
- Do not use the Software to create content that violates Second Life's policies.
5. Accounts & plans
Some features require a JoyCode account and may be subject to usage limits or paid plans. Plan details, pricing and limits are described on the Plans page and may change. You are responsible for activity under your account.
6. Updates
The Software may update automatically or prompt you to update. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the then-current Terms.
7. No warranty
The Software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JoyCode shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, content or profits, arising from your use of the Software.
9. Termination
JoyCode may suspend or terminate your access to the Software or its services if you breach these Terms. You may stop using and uninstall the Software at any time.
